We opened this specialty in 1995 to address the special needs of women in a safe and family styled setting. The women in our program have a desire to change but are so victimized by the forward spiral of their addiction that an intensive rebuilding and development program is needed. Our clients received a crash course in living sober and drug-free during their stay of up to 6 weeks. With the women, we believe that the family is an essential part of our treatment plan and their participation is paramount to the client's continuing recovery. We assist with the issues involved in leaving the family for extended periods
